Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot & SWEDEFEST Truck Show this Sunday from 8am

Great buying crowds at Stonham Barns every week plus we have an amazing selection of events coming up. It is an event every Sunday for the next 3 weeks. Make sure you sell at the Car Boot on each of these days as they run at the same time as the events.

Don't miss this month at Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot as it is Super September at Stonham. It's another one this Sunday & make sure you just turn up & sell from Five Pounds. Covered stalls Ten Pounds (you can pre book these only but hurry up as they go fast - text 07817539168 to reserve). The Car Boot runs at the same time as these events so sell to the extra crowds. This Sunday, 24th September, we have another event, the Swedefest Truck Show followed by the American Car Show on the 1st October followed by the East Anglian Falconry & Countryside Fair on the 8th October. Sell at the Car Boot from only Five Pounds on all of these days too. That is a show every Sunday for 4 weeks and it's amazingly only Five Pounds to sell to the crowds on these days .

Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot is on this Sunday, 24th September 2017and every Sunday until the end of November (weather pending). Just turn up & sell at the car boot from only Five Pounds. We have had great numbers of sellers and buyers at Stonham Barns Car Boot this year as it's such a relaxed and Friendly Sunday Car Boot where you can sell without being hassled. We are in our 5th year now and we are growing each year. So, if you want to sell just turn up at 8am or alternatively hurry up & pre-book the covered stalls (only 20 of these and they are very popular. These always sell quickly). Text 07817539168 to reserve one. Remember that these also offer some welcome shade. You can turn up on the day without booking and sell from Five Pounds.

Everyone loves the friendly atmosphere, the non-aggressive buyers and a good old-fashioned traditional Car Boot. So, 8am start as usual on Sunday. Just turn up and sell from Five Pounds. Events often run at the same time as the Car Boot so make sure you check the events page. Next event is the Swedefest Truck Show on the 24th September. Ideal days to sell at the Car Boot with extra crowds on those days. I will also try and add all the various Car Meets and activities that will bring extra crowds on the Sundays. When the events are on the visitors park next to the Car Boot..

Stonham itself sees many new shops and a new restaurant as well as the popular Owl Sanctuary, Golf/FootGolf and a growing number of craft shops so, the whole experience on a Sunday is also improving. We also have some additional hard ground with lots more coming next year.

As usual you can just turn up from 8am and sell from Five Pounds small Vans are Seven Pounds Fifty, Large Vans Ten Pounds or alternatively use the Covered stalls (Ten Pounds) which are really popular and offer you the chance to sell without having to bring a table. Text your number plate quickly to reserve one (07817539168). These are held till 8.15am only on a Sunday or text if you are coming but delayed. We are on the big field so there is loads of room without extra charges for space taken. When you enter Stonham take the left into the field and wait to be positioned. Gazebos welcome, especially when the weather is potentially poor. We will always try and open (last year we did not open on only one Sunday in the season).

Grandparents! Look past the title of the play. This is an inter-generational story that deals with love and loss, hope and sadness as the relationship between Poppy and her Grandad is first thrown together and eventually torn apart. Poppy is 11, has attitude, but dreams of dancing in Blackpool. Ken is something of a hermit, a man living in the past with no television, no computer and no patience. While their relationship is volatile, it's also very funny and strewn with moments of real tenderness. This play is provocative, touching and not at all predictable! A UK mainland amateur premiere. Contains mildly offensive language. Saturday matinee at 2.30pm
Tickets: £13, £11 (65+), £10 (student)

Trianon Music Group
Formed in 1959 Trianon's Symphony Orchestra and Choir perform three major concerts a year in various venues, such as Ipswich Corn Exchange and Snape Maltings. Members also take part many other musically associated activities including the annual series of 'Community Concerts' held across the region in support of local churches and other charities.
The Group recruits across a wide age range. Many of its members are at School, College or University, and Trianon provides opportunities for young players to have their first chance to take part in the performance of large scale works. The membership is not confined to young people - there are members who have been in Trianon for many years.
Rehearsals take place in Ipswich during college and school vacations periods, thereby enabling members to belong to Trianon as well as benefit from membership of musical organisations which meet in term time.
New members are always welcome. It is expected that instrumentalists will have achieved a minimum standard equivalent to grade 5 (Associated Board) and be competent sight-readers. There is no audition for either choir or orchestra, although members may be invited to participate on a 'trial' basis.
