Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot on Sunday 21st April & Monday 22nd April 2019 and running at the same time as the Car Boot is EasterFest 2019. We have events running at the same time on the first EIGHT Sundays. Make sure you try and sell on Sunday when the main Show is on as well. We are obviously OPEN BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY too when a good crowd is expected too.

Each Sunday you can turn up without booking and sell from Five Pounds. However, you can pre-book the Covered stalls NOW by texting 07817539168. And that is for any Sunday. Otherwise, as usual, just turn up on the day from 8am. Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot is famous for its great atmosphere where you can sell without being hassled by buyers. Stonham Barns is hugely popular and growing every year. Come and see why. We have a lot of events running at the same time as the Car Boot this week we have EasterFest 2019 a Country Music Festival on April 21st/22nd and Spring Break on the 28th April & the Natural Dog Show on 5th and 6th May. Motorcycle Show on the 12th, Stonham Barns Steam and Vintage Show on the 19th May and Stonham Truck Show on 26th May. The Car Boot is open on Bank Holiday Mondays this year so the 21st/22nd April, 5th/6th May, 26th/27th May & 25th/26th August. Stonham Barns also now has a brand new Theatre where there are shows on virtually every Sunday adding even more people to Stonham each week.

Stonham Car Boot gets busier every week and Stonham is alive with people camping, the Holiday Homes full up and the popular attractions drawing more & more visitors to the Owl Sanctuary, numerous Shops and New Play area & now open New Crazy Golf (which looks immense). The Car Boot is one of only a few Traditional ones where you can really enjoy a friendly, peaceful day in the countryside at a venue that has so much for everyone to see and do. Early risers can get there for 7am but the sensible ones turn up from 8am.

Stonham Barns Car Boot is still the one to go to if you want a completely stress-free day without the buyers climbing into the back of your car We have had 150 sellers on some weeks last year and we are lucky to have buyers that actually buy. Stonham is known for its one-off sellers and Antiques (as well as all the normal Car Boot items) and in our Seventh year we are getting a good regular crowd of sellers and buyers. Everyone loves Stonham as its unbeatable when the weather is good. It has a great atmosphere, a knowledgeable friendly crowd made up of all ages. Families, young and old, dog friendly and caters for the disabled. You can still sell from Five Pounds right up to Ten Pounds for Covered stalls. These are really a hit with the sellers as you can book by texting 07817539168, pull up behind, set up and sell and pack up and leave at the end of the day. Alternatively, we are still the cheapest in Suffolk so you can just turn up from 8am and sell.

If the weather's good Stonham is a great place to sell & you won't find a friendlier Car Boot and such a friendly buying crowd plus there are always great bargains as we are renowned for our one-off novice sellers. We are also on the Coastal Route & in Summer have the Campsite and Holiday Homes full up and filled with Car Boot lovers and so many visitors to the Attractions and shops. If the sun comes out Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot is so popular.

We are outdoors only but offer covered stalls. We try to open every week irrespective of the weather as we still get buyers and sellers.

The prices are Five Pounds Cars, Small Vans Seven Pounds Fifty so are Cars with Trailers, Large Vans are Ten Pounds, covered stalls are also Ten Pounds. Buying is free as is parking.

Cedric Morris was a highly acclaimed, commercially successful artist who became disillusioned with the bias of the London art scene towards abstract paintings. On moving to Suffolk in 1930 with his partner, Arthur Lett Haines, he continued to paint prolifically while creating wonderful gardens and running an art school. Although he enjoyed a devoted following from fellow artists and friends, his work was largely forgotten until recently. This illustrated talk offers a glimpse into the world of this under-rated artist. Admission is free with a retiring collection to defray expenses. The Workshop: Jan an Award winning comedy writer, broadcaster and journalist is a regular workshop presenter for INK, a Suffolk based theatre company and registered charity, that sources, develops, and produces the best new short plays for stage, and radio, from writers with an East Anglian connection. Her most recent radio play 'Conversations from a Long Marriage' was aired on New Year's Day 2018 with Joanna Lumley and Roger Allam and has been subsequently commissioned as a BBC television series. Ipswich Ladies Hockey Club
Ipswich Ladies Hockey Club is the only Premier National League club in Suffolk and we aim to cater for all standards of players. Trianon Music Group
Formed in 1959 Trianon's Symphony Orchestra and Choir perform three major concerts a year in various venues, such as Ipswich Corn Exchange and Snape Maltings. Members also take part many other musically associated activities including the annual series of 'Community Concerts' held across the region in support of local churches and other charities.
The Group recruits across a wide age range. Many of its members are at School, College or University, and Trianon provides opportunities for young players to have their first chance to take part in the performance of large scale works. The membership is not confined to young people - there are members who have been in Trianon for many years.
Rehearsals take place in Ipswich during college and school vacations periods, thereby enabling members to belong to Trianon as well as benefit from membership of musical organisations which meet in term time.
New members are always welcome. It is expected that instrumentalists will have achieved a minimum standard equivalent to grade 5 (Associated Board) and be competent sight-readers. There is no audition for either choir or orchestra, although members may be invited to participate on a 'trial' basis.
